Now that the season is over - and @RonCo has updated the DPAAVG thread, I was able to update the Viz with the final data for 2045. To no surprise (as they were leading all season) Madison tops the the chart with a BBA best since we've been tracking this from the 2037 season at a overall ranking +120.6. From where we finished last season (-31.6) to now, that over a +150 jump in DPAAVG. While we are looking at Madison, if you turn back the clock (or in this case the slider) to 4/14/2039 Madison looks like the new goth kid at school. Wow, this was bad, epic bad.



This year one of my goals was to focus more on defense to help my so-so staff.



Mission accomplished. So what did it net me from the end of last season for my staff?

• +6 Wins (Pythag had me at another +5)

• R/G down by .9 to 4.8

• Runs Allowed down 148

• Shutouts up by 8

• ERA down almost a full point .86

• Hits allowed down by 295

• Home Runs Allowed down by 13

• WHIP down .06

• OAVG down .041

• BABIP down .044

So what's it all mean? Nada. Its good enough for 7th place in the Heartland. It was fun actually seeing the work you put in behind the scenes actually does show to results on the field.
