Yellow Springs 12 - Vancouver 1
The Nine scored 7 runs over their final 3 at-bats and capitalized on 3 Vancouver errors that led to 4 unearned runs to claim a FUBAR win. Thum went 3-5 with a double and a pair of triples. He also scored twice and drove in 3 RBI. Javier Rodriguez hit his 13th homerun of the season while going 3-4 in this game with a pair of runs and RBI. Mendoza had two hits including his 6th homerun of the year. Bill Pidduck had his worst relief effort of the season, surrendering 6 runs on 6 hits over 2.2 innings pitched.
Twin Cities 12 - Valencia 0
My unofficial count has this as the Heartland's 4th FUBAR win over the Pacific this season while the Pacific searches for their first win over the Heartland in this feature. The River Monsters scored in every inning from the 3rd through the 8th, led by by 5 homeruns. Jose Cordero had two of those, a 2-run shot in the 5th and a solo bomb in the 8th. He finished the game going 4 for 5 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI. Jorge Garcia allowed 3 of the 5 homeruns on the Stars pitching side, giving up 6 runs on 7 hits in 4.1 innings pitched.

Louisville 12 - Seattle 2
And the beat goes on with another Heartland drubbing of a Pacific team. Antonio Lopez his a 3 run homer in the 4th inning and Brett White joined him with a 2 run shot that capped off a 5 run inning for the Sluggers. They'd hit 4 homeruns as a team. Bourges, Kwakou, and Moran also led the charge with 3 hits apiece. Luther Summers fell to 3-4 with the loss after allowing 7 runs on 6 hits and a walk in 3 innings. He started the 4th. He did not finish it.

Las Vegas 17 - Brooklyn 4
The Hustlers scored a lot and scored often. Ruiz and Logan each had a pair of 3-run homeruns in this one while Jim Ashford went yard twice in the contest. IT was the only two hits for Ashford who also added in 3 bases on balls, 4 runs scored, and 4 RBI to his night. Ruiz had 3 hits and matched Ashford with 4 runs batted in. Four of the five pitchers Brooklyn used on the night allowed 3 runs or more.
San Fernando 15 - Des Moines 4
Hey Hey!!! We have our first Pacific FUBAR over the Heartland (I think). This was a wild one. This game was tied at 3-3 heading into the 8th inning. The Bears scored 4 times to take a 7-3 lead only to have the Kernels cut into that, making it 7-4 heading to the 9th. It didn't look anything like a FUBAR game. But in the 9th, the Bears would tally 8 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks to take a 15-4 lead and a FUBAR win. Reggie Vargas homered in the 9th, but it was only a solo shot. Reynaldo Avila added a double with two on in the inning as well. Ernesto Lopes allowed 4 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks in the 9th. Lopes failed to record a single out in the inning.
