The Cougars jumped out 2-0 after 2 but then it was all Vegas after that! Otto Altaner went 4 for 5 with a pair of doubles and 6 runs batted in! He scored a run as well. His two doubles came with 2 on and the bases loaded! Manoell Whannon hit a 2-run homer. He went 2-5 in the game with a pair of runs and RBI. Zach Reid added a couple of doubles and a single along with 2 RBI. Guillermo Sanchez fell to 7-15 on the season with the loss. Sanchez allowed 6 runs on 8 hits and a walk in 3.1 innings pitched.

Valencia 12 - Portland 2
It was a bad sim to be a recent expansion team I suppose as both teams suffer FUBAR losses. The Stars only scored in two innings, but put up a 6-spot in both of those. The Stars hit a trio of homeruns in the 3rd inning off of Ray Verhoeve for the first 6-run inning. One was hit by Haney, his 41st of the season. Another was by Pagan, his 40th. Zalapa hit a 3 run shot in the 5th (also a 6-run inning) for his 36th homerun of the season. Ray Verhoeve fell to 5-18 with the loss, having allowed 6 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks in 2.1 innings pitched. Ernie Kinney (the bum) allowed the other 6 runs on 4 hits and 4 walks.
