Say what you will about Jim Lorenzen (and I’ve said a lot) the Sox have added 10 plays above average in the outfield between June 29 and Aug 3, when he came back into the lineup.
Hey Vic, you need to clean out your PMs lol. That's why my message is on hold. You need to delete a bunch in order to release the hold on the PMs in your inbox.
Anyways, I was just wondering what that baseball board game was that you mentioned on Slack awhile back. Lol thanks.
Anyone else reading this: I know this is not a PM. Vic can't read my PM lul.

Ah, I’ll clean ‘em out. History Maker Baseball was the board game.
Noice. That is a different game. I was looking at Baseball Highlights 2045 and I was wondering if that was the game. Loving this Baseball History Maker though. Reminds me of some really old games I used to play. Thanks!

It’s a lot of fun - I play with the Century League card set - a fictional league set in the 1940s. A nice change of pace from OOTP. I like board games, anyway, and this one has a unique and engaging design.

I wonder how much of a coincidence that the teams who have a positive total are all pretty much playoff contenders other than Wichita and Charlotte(both of who at one point were looking like they could be).

Try to get some more offense in the game and the defense drops a ton. And we seem to be losing more lately than we were too.

How in the heck can a team get -76 on ground balls? I think I could almost put 4 scarecrows around the infield and they would knock down more balls than that.

I think Des Moines can get you a six-pack of scarecrows at wholesale. Just be careful: you have to pick them up yourself from behind the cornrows.
