This spring I had a tough decision to make in right field between the defensive António Cordero and the offensive Juan Rodríguez. I went with Cordero cause I felt my offense was already good enough and my defense was just average. A case of team needs trumping common sense. So far it appears to be the right choice.

Hoping my infield defense will improve as the year goes on. Dick Walton is filing out fast and should join the big club before long. He'll knock Venegas out of the VS RHP lineup, which will free him up to be a late inning sub at 3B, sliding Eijpe over to 1B for innings 7-9. Those 3 along with Richard Drouin at 2B should be a lock down late inning infield. Then against lefties I'll have Walton and Venegas up the middle for the whole game.

Hmm the Donadoni and Collins changes in my infield is causing a few more problems than I thought I guess. I may need to re-evaluate my options now that I have Villanuela back.

I don't know what to make of positive FB in OF and negative LD in OF. I supposed that will get better eventually if I continue to have Menzies and Kim out there. Maybe all the line drives are getting hit to left field? lol
