Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2041.6

Post by CTBrewCrew » Sun Jan 26, 2020 8:26 am

This week I have gone back and updated the BBA Top 3 in offensive categories to include the entire 2040 season.

Updates Made:
  • New color scheme.
  • Removed the player Image.
  • Updated the layout.
  • Lowered the min PA to 500 (was 1000) this didn't impact other teams TOP 3 much - but allowed Charlotte and Portland to have some data.
  • Added area on left that lists all players in the BBA and how long they played for each team.
  • When you hover over a player on either side it will highlight them on the entire screen. This makes it easier for you to see where player is in each category.
  • Hovering/Holding your cursor over a bar-chart on the left will give more detail about that player.
  • Clicking on player will lock that player, just re-click them to unfreeze.
Some interesting things I learned while updating:

Two of the three players who have played 23 or more seasons with a single team, are the Wolves (Puckett & Kengos), and the other is Ted Sale from Long Beach. Sale and Kengos did it all for a single team, a rarity today.

Gary Barr played 27 seasons in the BBA (was elected to the HOF in 2006), played for 5 teams, but is not in any "Top 3" category for any of them. He played 9 seasons with Valencia, 8 with Vegas and Jacksonville, 1 with Calgary, and his final 1 in Montreal. Much like Caine from Kung Fu, he wandered the world of the BBA

Looking at active players, Cisco Guerrero currently leads the BBA with 19 seasons. 4 in Brooklyn, 1 in the Twin Cities, 5 in Nashville, 8 in Montreal.
He is currently splattered all over the Blazers "Top 3" board, and is currently selling his services out in San Fernando.

The player with the longest current active streak with one team now is Lucas McNeill of Yellow Spring (14 season), followed closely by Bertram Hahn of Jacksonville (13 years), and Gerardo Guzman of Chicago (11 seasons). Both of whom are quite active on their current teams "Top 3" board.

I will continue to update this board at each seasons end. See what stories you can find!

~Enjoy!
