Jacksonville...why'd it have to be Jacksonville?
it is playoff time in the Brewster ron, the better question is why are you NOT prepared to be tortured?

bumping this for question 11 which is a 2 parter. Looking for both the active and retired players with the most WAR for a single team who are not in the HOF (they do not need to be the franchise leader in order to qualify).

Cochran only piled up 37.0 WAR, which is good for 141st all time (for a single franchise). Both of these guys are in the top 30 for that category.

I should note that these guys could have played for multiple franchises, but their WAR totals would be split accordingly.

For active, I'll take a home-town shot and say Lucas McNeill has to be up there.

I stepped away from my computer so I don't have the exact figured, but I do know McNeill is just a hair short (and this time next year will probably have the title).

Ah...hmmm...I bet I know. Probably has to be one of two guys, anyway. Since I've taken a shot or two, I'll wait to see if anyone else has guesses.

What was question 10 where Jacksonville was the answer?

QUESTION 11

2 PARTER

A) which active player has the highest WAR for a single team and is NOT in the hall of fame?
B) which retired player has the highest WAR for a single team and is NOT in the hall of fame?

Active, I have no idea so I'll just guess Noboru.

Retired, maybe the Love Machine? Is he in the Hall? If Leonard isn't he played forever with Calgary and was always good for them.

61 WAR for Montreal..
I forget that he is considerably older than Noboru. I was thinking he started only a year or two before him and left a few years ago. Didn't remember that he debuted in 2026 (thought it was 2028 or 2029). And just how dominant he was there (he had about 4 seasons of WAR packed into 3)

Ha, Ron left Juan Pablo for me to guess and then guessed him anyway....

Did Juan Heredia make the HoF? If not, he's my guess for the retired guy.
