In a sea of light hitting, defensive first players on the Mexico City roster, Lopez stands out as someone different. He could be a valuable power bat for Fred's Aztecs long-term, and the future is now. Defensively, he's not horrible but he's definitely not Fred's usual kind of player.

Another intriguing left-hander who is probably best suited as a LOOGY, but on a rebuilding Montreal team he'll get plenty of opportunity to prove he's more than that. With his frame there's still time to grow into being a power pitcher.

Since becoming a professional in 2031, Diaz has hit 134 dingers throughout his minor league career. That's why he's up here. Power and defense. The classic backup catcher. Kind of reminds me of Robinson Lopez.

Most interesting thing about Lopez is how little he is. 5'9", 170lbs. Not the frame you'd pick for a power hitting plodder.
