This chart shows how far away from the average each player is at a given stat. 1.00 is exactly the mean, higher numbers are good, lower numbers are bad. This is not a perfect chart because it gives every stat the exact same weight, which isnt exactly accurate but it gives a decent picture of what we are looking at.

Another one were players from the original years pull down the chart.
Clarke;s line is interesting though, under average in extra base hits, but above in SLG. Chamberlain gets in on those homers--which is probably fair given that its #2 on the position list.

Chamberlain is also a guy that got in on short term dominance. He disappeared from the game in the 1995 re-boot if I recall. So a lot of his counting numbers would be red on that chart due to his disappearance.
