well the 3rd annual pitching database has been compiled and the media guide piece submitted. I wont spoil the piece by posting the excel spreadsheet until after it is published (will be linked at bottom of this thread at that time), but here are some interesting tidbits I found when compiling it. Of note, when I reference "records" that just means since 2033 when I started collecting data.

- League average start: 6.16 IP/97.66 Pitches/49.00 GS (2034: 6.16 IP/97.53 pitches/49.50 GS, 2033: 6.19 IP/97.50 pitches/49.43 GS)
- Johnson League records:
o Individual fewest pitches/game (2033 Conan Harris 83.40)
o Individual highest Game Score (2034 Freddy Delgado 96)
o Team fewest IP/game (2033 San Antonio Outlaws 5.56)
o Team fewest pitches/game (2033 San Antonio Outlaws 90.17)
- Frick League Records:
o Individual fewest pitches/game (2033 Jake Dickson 85.24)
o Individual highest Game Score (2033 Bobby Lynch 95)
o Individual lowest Game Score (2034 Abe Colbert Jr. -20)
o Team most IP/game (2033 Omaha Hawks 6.79)
o Team most pitches/game (2034 Seattle Storm 106.27)
o Team most PAP (2034 Louisville Sluggers 3133)
o Team lowest Game Score (Mexico City Aztecs 46.76)
o Team fewest pitches/game (2034 Long Beach Surfers 85.78)
- Overall BBA Records:
o Individual fewest pitches/game (2033 Conan Harris 83.40)
o Individual highest Game Score (2034 Freddy Delgado 96)
o Team most PAP (2034 Havana Sugar Kings 3289)
o Team fewest IP/game (2034 Mexico City Aztecs 5.47)
o Team fewest pitches/game (2034 Long Beach Surfers 85.78)
- 19 performances with Game Score of 90+ (6 in 2034, 13 in 2033)
- 24 performances with a negative Game Score (12 in 2034, 14 in 2033)
- 2 pitchers with multiple Game Scores of 90+
- 1 pitcher with multiple negative Game Scores
- 2 starters with season GS average of 60+ (4 in 2034, 1 in 2033)
- 3 top 10 teams in average GS missed playoffs (4, 8, 10)
- 3 teams made playoffs with below average GS (17, 18, 20)
- 52 pitchers average 100+ pitches/game (40 in 2034, 49 in 2033)

im also toying with the idea of putting together a massive combined spreadsheet of all the years for which i have data, including separate team tabs for both individual games and overall season performances. I need to play around with it (and it wont get done anytime soon), but could be fun and useful to have a quick reference for how teams and pitchers progress throughout the course of time.

If I wasn't clear, those marks in the parenthesis of the record section are the previous record highs (or lows).

now that media guide is out, updated the initial post to include the link for full spreadsheet. Should be viewable in a browser and also able to be downloaded for easier sorting/editing.
