1st base- Sirius Black. the wizard Padfoot, with all his talent was able to lower his strikeout totals from 98 almost 30%. This year the 6 year veteran hopes to lower the strikeouts even more, raise BA and knock in a few more runs.
2nd base- Much like Black, Mark Bruneris a solid hitter, with a tendency to strike out, however he does walk much more. with 71 RBI's the 26 yr old Bruner set a career high with 25 HR's. A break out year this year should be expected.
3rd base- Kurt Bouley was able to knock 21 HR's last season, and had a solid overall statistical season. His biggest issue was in the field. 27 Errors is certainly a statistic Bouley would like to improve.
Shortstop- At 29, Seve Kava hopes to lock in a starting job at short, however after 110 games last year, Baltimore may look to improve on this position. A BA of .257 and 23 RBI's could leave room for the Rookie Dirk Spencer to take the job.
Outfield- The heart of the offense, Labrie, Clarke, and Caves, all had over 90 RBI's last season. And will continue to lead this offense through the 2000 season.
Overall predicted record: 89-73, 1st.
