I do this because it gives an idea of what our ratings bars mean in context of the game itself. Naturally, I have now taken an in-season snapshot of the average plate appearance so far this year.

Bottom line, it appears power is down and stuff is up. Interestingly, though, the HR amd K rates are both very gently up. So we’ll see what happens. To a degree, I would guess that the power drop is likely due to older players aging out (most high power hitters are in that 35-years and up zone).
We will see, right?
