Welcome to the first episode of a new podcast: Stories from the Brewster. This series is dedicated to covering, and uncovering, stories from the history of the MBBA. Baseball is all about stories: from the boxscore to the front page, we categorize and assign narrative to everything that happens in this game of ours. Some of these we remember, and tell each other year after year. Others we forget, and time washes over them until there's nothing left but the faintest of memories. I'm interested in both. Every week or so, I'll release a short-form recording covering a story I feel is worth talking about.Our first episode focuses on Clarence Diamond, and you can listen to it here. I hope you like it.
