This is what happens in Portland when you have COF who can't play defense, a CF who is really a COF, a SS who is a 2B, and a 3B who is a 1B.

Not to mention 5 pitchers on the DL and we're signing batting practice arms just to fill a staff. Yet we are somehow 2 games over .500. Go figure!

It's definitely a strange year for the Jacks. You get the feeling that if they can manage to fight it to .500 for the first half, things might pop for them. But getting there is a real grind.
