Echevarria is hitting well for a backstop but only 0.5 WAR. Chicago pitching is even scarier with a good framer. IIRC they’ve mixed in Dale Olds but he doesn’t hit.

I admit that I did not look to see if players had changed teams. The stats represent their 2063 performance across how every many teams they may have played for.

I will leave that as an exercise for the reader.

I’m so glad I moved Komatsu from CF. He went -23.5 ZR the last two years to +5.8 in RF this year.

Aragon would not be on this list if he were still playing third base, but I'll trade off him not playing the hot corner in exchange for him leading the JL in homers from shortstop.

Lucchesi, of course, did that - 12.2 wreckage in center for the Black Sox. The only thing he brought to Des Moines was Chicago style pizza. Morris the guy they got from us was injured immediately but only minor, so maybe he should be playing?

When I took over Charm City we had some pretty rough fielders in the OF. I don’t care how good you can hit, but you have to be at least decent defensively to play OF for the Jimmies
