2043 FUBARs of the Sim - Sim 12

Post by 7teen » Fri Jul 10, 2020 8:32 am

Need to make this one quick as I'm about to head to North Carolina for a couple days of golf....

June 16
Las Vegas 11 - Wichita 0
Logan and L'Arch each had 3 hits. Of course Logan's were 3 solo homeruns so that was way more impressive. They both also scored 3 runs and drove in 3 RBI so in they were equally as impressive. Abe Colbert Jr may want to go ahead and retire after allowing 6 runs on 4 hits and 4 walks in 2 innings pitched.

June 17
Yellow Springs 13 - Valencia 2
Abdel Sediki hit a grand slam in the first and the route was on. Sediki finished with 3 hits, 3 runs scored, and the 4 RBI from the grand slam. Dong Po Thum had 2 hits, both were homeruns, as Yellow Springs notched 5 long balls in the game. Leta Koude surrendered 3 of those and allowed 6 runs on 7 hits in 2.1 innings of relief.

June 19
Brooklyn 14 - Mexico City 2
Sawyer Slizz hit a 3 run homer in the 8th inning that pushed this one over the FUBAR threshold. He finished 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 4 RBI. He was joined by 4 other Robins who each had two hits each in the game. Glenn allowed 6 runs in the start for the Aztecs and was joined by Castillo who allowed 6 more runs in relief.

Atlantic City 13 - Phoenix 3
The Gamblers scored a lot of runs and were helped by a lot of homeruns, six in all. Rivera hit his 27th of the season in the 3rd inning while Illingworth hit his 23rd in the 7th. Illingworth led the way with 4 RBI while Rivera was joined by Martinez and Barajas with a pair of RBI each. Charlie Iron-Knife allowed 6 runs on 5 hits and a walk in 3.1 innings of relief.

Edmonton 13 - Jacksonville 2
Pedro Huerta hit a grand slam in the 7th inning to make this an 11-2 game but it was Jerry Bell's 2-run shot in the 8th inning that made it a FUBAR win for the Jackrabbits. Huerta had a solid game, going 3-4 with a run scored and game high 6 runs batted in. Hurricanes starter Blondell failed to get passed the 2nd inning before being pulled. He allowed 5 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks.

Louisville 15 - San Fernando 2
Louisville had 5 doubles in this one and 4 of those came with runners on base. They added two more homeruns but only one of those had runners on. Bourges found his name on both lists as he went 3 for 6 in the game with an RBI. Kwakou added 4 hits for the Sluggers while Medrano added 4 RBI in another Heartland FUBAR over the Pacific.

June 22
Atlantic City 12 - Phoenix 1
The Gamblers FUBAR the Talons on back to back days. Yikes! The Gamblers also outhit Phoenix 18 to 3 in this one. Illingworth added another homerun in the 9th and had 4 hits in all. Ernesto Gonzalez had 2 homeruns and 3 hits for the game. Millard Younger hit his 9th homerun of the season in the 2nd inning and finished 3 for 4 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.
