Minor League PP Reward
Just a random thought for the GB to consider, but might be something interesting. Maybe the organization that has the best minor league record across all levels should get an award or a couple of PP? Could help keep second division teams engaged and give some ideas for forum writing?

This might really surprise you all, but I am actually HIGHLY in favor of this idea. Starting this season.

Because this would lead even more people to play 35 year olds in rookie ball and the like.jiminyhopkins wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 8:18 pmThis might really surprise you all, but I am actually HIGHLY in favor of this idea. Starting this season.

I’m just as guilty as Sean on playing older guys at low levels to try and win. I also think we both do mix in our “prospects” fairly with those veterans.
And heck, one guy I signed to load up my A-Ball team is on the verge of starting at 3B in the Brewster Series because I had to call him up and use him.

Re: Minor League PP Reward
THIS. I had Don Smith as a minor leaguer, and called him up. He ended up leading us to the playoffs. Like I said before, draft picks these days are largely crap, as are IFAs. So why not load up with some vets and see what it gets you?7teen wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 5:37 pmI’m just as guilty as Sean on playing older guys at low levels to try and win. Old RF Hector Cruz even gave me a 0.9 WAR in 50 games, 2B Ron Ritchie did even better with 1.7 in 70 games...
And 1B Francolillini went player of the week when i promoted him for my injured starter.
