In all seriousness we have been going thru a revolving door of BBA GMs as is (boise has had at least 2 GMs since you left), I don't see anyway we can support an additional league at this point.

Lol.... Part of Twin Cities's past success is due to the expansion draft from the EBA going away...
I think many of the GM's had two teams? One in both?
Not sure though.

The Rule 6 was super fun and a great way for rebuilding teams to get competitive quicker. I miss it like the desert misses the rain.

Brett, you should see me in the GB forums. At least weekly I'm pining for the return of the EBA.

The good thing about the EBA was that BBA GMs would control them when they were vacant. Being a secondary, lower level league it was not really as important to keep it fully stocked.
The best thing about it was that it forced prospective GMs to PROVE that they had what it took to EARN a spot in the BBA. You couldn't get a BBA franchise unless you put some time in the EBA. I was EBA for at least 1 season, maybe close to 2. As were Tyler, and I believe Ron as well. It really helped to ensure the quality of GMs coming into the BBA.
Anyway, I imagine that it's a lot of work for Matt to manage, so it's probably not coming back. But I sure do miss it.

I suppose it's a cost/benefit thing. I like the idea of it, and enjoyed being part of it. Probably take time from Matt. The main operational value would seem to be that it's a staging ground to let new GMs try us out.

Yes. I was a writing vulture for awhile, then Madrid in the EBA for a bit before YS9 was gifted upon me.

It's funny, I was contemplating bringing back a small version of it on the drive in to work this morning.
GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY IS THAT BRETT SCHROEDERS MUSIC!!!

If Brett ever gets entrance music, I totally call dibs on picking what it is.
I mean if we are going WWE it has to be the undertaker right? Only appropriate.
Um... no. It'll be something worse than the 'hold music' I gave you on Skype.

After London and Brussels I'm keen to add to my EBA franchise haul lol. You could move London to Leeds
The GM's could make their own logos/uni or I'd volunteer to do them
It would be nice to see it back, and hey if it proves to be a pain in the arse you can just send it packing again. I don't suppose anybody would moan about picking the bones clean again in another contraction draft
