If an owner wanted to do podcasts for his/her (just in case :D ) team, how would they count as far as PPs. I assume they would be the same as 1 beat article, but would they have to be over a certain length (say, more than 1 minute) to count?

I think they should be worth quite a bit...as producing a podcast takes a significant amount of effort and willingness. And for a Podcast to be worth anything, it has to be a minimum of 5 minutes. I'd say probaly 10 PPT's a podcast.

Write Material
Record Material
Format Material
Upload Material

It's quite a bit more than that, but that's the gist of it.

That sounds about right, we used to get 8 for team previews didn't we? This would be more time intensive than those, so 10 makes sense.

Personal opinion, but 10 seems like a lot.

Yup, a lot.
I think 5 would be more like it.

I think 5 would be a reasonable number myself...

I would think a podcast would be along the lines of a significant writing, like 4 ppts. Perhaps a bonus if you do 5 podcasts or season for an additional 5 points total. So if you do 3 you'd get 12, but if you did 5 you'd get 25. Or maybe a bonus 4 points.

Really writing helps participation, but honestly for me it helped me get in to the league and reading posts brings life to it, plus it really helps get a handle on players, etc. Yea it benefits the league to write or do podcasts, but if you do it right you're getting more out of it than anyone else.

I would also be against assigning points based on quality or length. We've seen that done before and it just doesnt' work well. Way too subjective and honestly, are we here to earn points or here to have fun and write to increase that fun?
