Well, I know I have no control, but much of the info on that page is available from other sources. Most of what I would be interested in is on the "financial report" page of each team's website. OOTP should let you see at least that information in game.

But my especial annoyance is that nowhere can you see other team's ticket prices (unless of course you have commish access). Ticket prices should be common knowledge (imo). Halifax, btw, charges $18.50.
I agree with Joe here. This is something that has changed about OOTP and I don't understand the reasoning for it (especially since, as Joe pointed out, you can find most of that info elsewhere). If the main front office screen won't allow us to see the info, should we have the ticket price of every team posted somewhere on the site?

I like the idea of public ticket prices. I only have a foggy idea of the rest of the league. I'm 14.00, which one owner told me is somewhat typical. But given I have little t compare to, I don't know if a .50 cent hike is a big deal, or is it a dollar or 2 that would piss off my fans? Am I in the pricey half of the league?

I charged $25 and filled a 35K stadium last year.

I also got a 5M bump in season ticket revenue from adding 5K seats this offseason, so I'm probably going to fill my new 40K at the same price.

Even if you aren't filling your stadium, though, its better to overcharge by twice and fill it 2/3rds than undercharge by half and fill it full. You just have to play with the prices sometimes (which makes it completely asinine that they don't let you do this in-game anymore) to find a good balance when you're not a "sell out no matter what" squad.

I'm somewhere in the low 20s, but it's Seattle. If people in your city will spend $5 on a cup of coffee, it's perfectly reasonable to charge that for baseball tickets, right?

I am at $13 but was considering dropping to $12 next season

I'm at $14, down from $16.60 last year. And I agree: ticket prices should be made public. In some ways it doesn't matter; it's going to be specific to your situation.

But it's not like it's a big secret in real life at ALL. "We're not going to tell you how much that costs. Instead, we're going to make you guess, then charge you what we said we were going to charge anyway."

This talk makes me sick considering how low my prices apparently need to be to get fans in the seats to even 2/3 full

It's tough man. Last year I was selling tickets for $10 and couldn't get my stadium even to 60%.

In my experience fan interest matters a LOT more for attendance than ticket price, and I don't think moving your ticket prices changes interest. It may affect fan loyalty, but lowering ticket prices to increase loyalty when you aren't putting an interesting product on the field isn't going to do much for attendance.

And bad fan loyalty doesn't matter much if you win a few games. After I gutted the team, I was drawing 14k a game, had 35 or so fan interest and the lowest level of loyalty. I never changed my ticket prices, and now I have poor fan loyalty (two increases but still below half) and 83 fan interest and I'm drawing 45k per game. I do have a huge market, but even in the year after I gutted the and had a losing record I was able to get interest to 50 by signing some older vets to cheap deals and extending my stars. My loyalty was still garbage but I got my attendance to just over 22k. Year three when I was .500 most of the year I got fan interest to almost 70 and was pulling over 30k per. That year I had the second worst rating for fan loyalty.

So my advice would be to leave you ticket prices alone. For the teams that are around 8 bucks, if you are not winning anyway, just increase the price to 12-14 bucks. It doesn't matter if you kill your fan loyalty. You can't function with 8 dollar tickets, and the slight boost in attendance you might get from lowing your pirce doesn't make up for the lost revenue from lowering it. Focus on finding way to spike fan interest.

Wow. $20+? I had mine just over $17 last season and nearly averaged a sellout in 45k seats. I was ticked that the engine overrode my price to set it at about $19.25 but now I'm thinking it knows better than me. Season ticket sells did increase, after all.

Thanks Recte!

Is the "ticket baseline" an in-game input or just derived from our average?

It's part of the League Settings that we determine.

Madisons has been 15 and never shifted since I've been here. When we were winning, we sold out every game. Now, we're half full. Moral of the story you want fans WIN.

Once in get back on a winning track, I'll raise prices to generate more $$

You should come down and slum it with Rome. Cheaper than a Starbucks latte!

So you're saying the tickets are overpriced and take forever to buy?
