Amen. I bottomed out my payroll to around $50M the last two years to dig out. Now I pushed it up to $75M, but my budget was lowered even after finishing above .500 with the low payroll. Add stadiun funds to that and I will be broke again in a few years. I don't think $75M is irresponsible.

We could put the active roster size to 25, like in rl. This would cut team budgets and make more FAs available, probably cheaper ones. Also be more realistic, obviously. Yeah the two spots are probably minimum or near minimum salary, but it's something. And I don't know why we use 27 man rosters, especially when we have the dh.
