While it is still in a state of development, what really intrigues me is that by having a fantasy league attached to an OOTP league, you force owners to pay attention to what is happening on other teams.
I dont know what the rest of the owners do here, but I mainly focus on my team. Get the lineups right, promotions/demotions, free agents, waiver wire, etc...but If you asked me to name the top 5 hitters (or fantasy performers) in the game...I could name a few...but thats mainly because i see their names on the top of the stats list every day.
But if I had Michael Shellenbarger on my fantasy team...I might actually care that he has the 5th best ERA in baseball! (i kid...I DO care...I just wouldnt have noticed if I didnt look up a random name for this post)
Just a thought...

This IS interesting. It's also kind of a second chance lottery...you know, you get the second chance to win something every year if your team isn't going anywhere in OOTP.
