Yeah, hopefully, the Stros will pick up their game today! Then I can claim them as well!

I'm not a 'Stros fan. Grew up in Chicago so a Cubs fan, but I also root for the Rangers. And the Astros are delusional this year. Their team is horrible and overpaid. Their farm is horrible. GM Wade has completely decimated that ballclub. They need to rebuild.

I AM an Astros fan, and I agree that they are a) horrible and b)overpaid. I do not however blame Ed Wade for this...this hangs principally on Drayton McLane and Tim Purpura. The system was bare when Wade got here and the Drayton is the one who didn't allow the signing of several top draft picks.

But, I will watch them religiously anyway because I love them.

I'm currently in Beaumont, but grew up in Houston and have spent 32 of my 36 years there.

I grew up in the woodlands! Funny. The Ed Wade is not the issue! In fact, he has been able to get Owner to cough up cash for top talent, however, if you aint winning in Houston, Tickets aint selling, so Drayton McLane is always looking to pull in someone to keep the club going at ridicuous prices. Which moves money away from the farmsystem and overseas scouting. However, i am happy to say that we have added a taiwanese closer and a Korean Secondbase along with heaps of dominicans. we are on the rise!
