First/Last Name: Conor SwainI have been playing OOTP for a number of years and have logged hundreds of hours of playtime offline, but have yet to venture into the world of online leagues. Having read some testamonials about the setup of the league, I am interested to check it out, and am happy to spend time in the GBC to find my feet. I am able to immerse myself in my baseball universes, in such a way that I hope will lend itself to this online Participation Points System e.g. talking about my team, analysing other teams, seeing as I always end up doing that out loud to myself anyway!

What interests you about the BBA?: As I mentioned earlier, the testamonials speak realy highly of the league, and the setup which lends itself to bleeding in new owners sounds great on paper, so I hope that it is not too daunting. The ways in which you can immerse yourself really intrigue me also
Describe your GM style: I'm a sucker for stats, almost to a fault! I am always looking for value, and I'm not afraid to take a flyer on a player if I feel that they can contribute, be it a seasoned veteran or a prospect lighting up the minors. Conversely I'm happy to cut bait on a player if he's not up to standard, no matter how expensive it may be. In terms of the community, while I am very competitive I am also very respectful, and believe in constructive talks when it comes to trades. If you want to discuss a trade, let's talk!

Tell us more about yourself: Irish guy who has an interest in a wide range of sports. Growing up, my main sports were F1 and soccer, though I now also religiously follow the NFL (having also played football at University in the England for 2 years), and MLB (landed with the Mets when they promoted a player who was born in Belfast to their roster in 2018). I love live sport, I'll attend my local soccer games even if it's a crowd of 500 people, or I'll fly to another part of the world to watch a 24 hour race, or on the occasions where my job has taken me to NY I'll take in a baseball game
