Have you read the BBA Constitution and agree to abide by its rules?: Yes
Do you own the current version of OOTP, and plan to buy all future versions?: Yes
Do you understand the Participation Point System, and agree to be a regular contributor to our community?: Yes
What interests you about the BBA?: I like that it’s an active fictional league with a lot of history. Fictional leagues are definitely my favorite way to play OOTP.The PP system is also an interesting feature that reminds me of something that was part of a league I really enjoyed in the past.
Describe your GM style: I like to explore a variety of ways to build my team. I hate tanking and love that it’s not allowed in this league. I always want to be building. Some years are obviously more geared toward the future, but I’m not interested in trying to lose. I want to build my team to be as successful as possible no matter what the situation is. Even if things aren’t looking good in a particular season, I want to push to make my team better.
Have you ever answered to the alias "Al Hoot"? (a little BBA inside joke!): No
Tell us more about yourself: I have been in several online leagues over the years. My favorites have been the CBA that I’m Currently in and the Dog Days Baseball League that I was in several years ago. I’ve been a high school band director for the last 25 years and enjoy that as well. I grew up outside of Kansas City, MO as a Royals fan but I moved to the Phoenix area when I was 11 and have been a big Diamondbacks fan since they joined the MLB in 1998. I attended the first ever game and all four home games in the 2001 World Series.
How did you hear about the BBA?: I believe I’ve seen it on the OOTP forums before but I saw the post on Reddit about openings in the league and now feels like a really good time to add a second league.
