Application from Rich Young - New Applicant

Post by Anonymous » Sun Nov 01, 2020 8:53 am

A user, Rich Young, has applied with the following information using the application form.
Real name: Rich Young
IP: 69.126.2.39
Email: rich.t.young@gmail.com
Applying for: New Applicant
Reason for applying:
I have been an OOTP player since version 6.5 but have never joined an online league. I am really looking for a new experience where I can participate in a living universe with other like minded individuals who might not find it strange that I have press conferences regarding my team in my head before I fall asleep at night. I mean my wife was underwhelmed when I told her my star played slugged .840(?!) last year vs righties. I would really enjoy the writing and participation aspect of the league and it would scratch that creative itch as well. I have the time now to fully participate in a league and I am a generally agreeable and reasonable person.
First/Last Name: Rich Young
City/State/Country: Litchfield, CT USA
Email Address: rich.t.young@gmail.com
OOTP Forums Username: trickyD
Desired Forum Username: RichY
Date of Birth (MM/DD/YY) for in-game purposes: 11/08/1970
Occupation: Cook
Other OOTP Leagues (with links): none
Have you read the BBA Constitution and agree to abide by its rules?: Yes
Do you own the current version of OOTP, and plan to buy all future versions?: Yes and Yes
Do you understand the Participation Point System, and agree to be a regular contributor to our community?: Yes
What interests you about the BBA?: The history, immersion and the effort put in to making it a cool experience. The participation point system. I also like the idea of the UMEBA to get into the flow of the league.
Describe your GM style: Opportunist. I have preferences of course on players/strategies but I like to be flexible.
Have you ever answered to the alias "Al Hoot"? (a little BBA inside joke!): Owl say "no".
Tell us more about yourself: Married, no kids. I like to hike and get outdoors. Originally from Chicago and I am a Cubs fan. I don't watch as much sports as I used too but still into baseball.
How did you hear about the BBA?: Not sure actually but likely the OOTP forums. I have been aware of it for awhile and listen to podcasts so maybe an OOTP podcast search brought me here.
