What interests you about the BBA?: BBA seems to be very well run, which is a top priority for me. The concept is interesting, but I am most interested in what seems to be a high standard to which every GM is held. I look forward to playing with and against some very smart and dedicated people.

Hi everyone!

I felt that it was appropriate to do a formal introduction since I didn't realize my application would be used as my introduction to the league.

First off, I was born and raised in rural North Louisiana and recently graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in biology. I just moved to New Orleans less than a week ago to attend medical school at LSU - New Orleans (Geaux Tigers, Who Dat, etc.).

I played baseball from the time that I was four years old up until my sophomore year of college and really fell in love with the game with the arrival of Josh Hamilton in Texas in 2008. I was fortunate enough to attend games of both the 2010 and 2011 World Series which are some of the top highlights of my life. After moving to college, one of my former high school coaches somehow got in touch with me and asked me to join his OOTP league, which I had never heard of before. I immediately fell in love with the game and was an active member of Major League Simulation Baseball for eleven seasons, being named GM of the Year three times at the helm of the Pittsburgh Pirates and becoming a co-commissioner during my last five seasons in the league. That league eventually restarted, and I decided that it was time for me to leave. After a couple of months of only playing offline, I'm ready for a new challenge.

As far as my GM style goes, I have been known to hoard prospects (often to my detriment) and build mostly through trades. I strive for continued excellence and generally don't believe in giving up the future for the present. I am extremely detail-oriented and thorough in everything that I do, and this extends to my GM style. I want every part of my team to be as good as it can be, and I won't be happy until I have achieved my vision.

I look forward to competing in this league for a long time. I can't promise that I will be the most active member of the league with med school starting soon, but I will give it everything I have by constantly managing my team, staying active on the forums, and responding to all messages.

I'll trade you Dennis French for a handful of blank, signed prescription forms.

Which team in CBA do you own?

I was the Indianapolis Hawks. I joined in the inaugural season after their original GM screwed them over in the draft and fled. I had to leave after one season due to commish duties in MLSB. I see that the Hawks are now in last place in the entire league.

Oh, gotcha. I'm San Diego.

IND is in a planned tank and will be A-OK in short order.

I didn't expect tanking to work in CBA with the way they determine draft order. But I am glad to hear that it's planned and something I did didn't lead to them being this bad.
