I'm not sure what your experience with Discord is like, but for me its all 30-35 year olds that I used to play EQ with when we were 10-15 year olds.

Actually I use discord. I just like to make old man jokes about myself and things I do.

I joined a discord a while back for a fan created hack sequel to roller coaster tycoon. Much like slack, I still have no idea what a discord is or if I'm doing it right.
I also cringe at work when I make a movie reference about something that I think came out a few years ago and then realize my coworker probably wasn't even born when it came out. I'm having a hard enough time coming to grips with the fact that I listen to the oldies station. So yeah, I'm definitely a crusty old man.
