New (?) Applicant: Jeff Palin

Post by Bumstead » Thu Jan 03, 2019 2:50 pm

First/Last Name: Jeff Palin
City/State/Country: Mooresville, Indiana
Email Address: bumstead14@yahoo.com
Desired Forum Username: bumstead (able to log in under the old username)
Date of Birth (MM/DD/YY) for in-game purposes: 01/21/68
Occupation: Accountant/CPA
Other OOTP Leagues (with links): Simbl (been around since 2005) and The 108 (with BC)
Have you read the BBA Constitution and agree to abide by its rules?: I will read it again.
Do you own the current version of OOTP, and plan to buy all future versions?: Yes
Do you understand the Participation Point System, and agree to be a regular contributor to our community?: Yes
What interests you about the BBA?: I like the writing aspect that is hard to find currently. I miss the competition in this league and the "flexible" Commish ( :pickles: )
Describe your GM style: It's an acquired style that few can comprehend....eh...I just enjoy competing, debating and seeing the stats...oh and trading is fun.
Have you ever answered to the alias "Al Hoot"? (a little BBA inside joke!): Not yet.
Tell us more about yourself: I've been here before. I drafted and started the build of the Twin City franchise (brought it up from EBA, where I managed Madrid); I see Wareham and Man and Limon and a few of the other guys I set out to build around are still with the franchise. Pretty neat to see after all these seasons have passed. I can be a bit fiery but in most cases I'm just having fun. I am passionate about the game and the competition.
How did you hear about the BBA?: Guy along side the road.

It's great to see so many of y'all are still here competing. I look forward to getting back into the swing here with some terrible team that will take me 5 years to rebuild...plus, in the meantime I can drive Ted nutty! :hi5:

We need more shit stirrers - especially if Ted leaves. Looking forward to you getting a team again, bum.

I like to think that it'd be a cage match with all 4 of us where in the last minute the ref hits us all in the face with a folding chair and then removes his mask to reveal he is Al Hoot.
