Weren't these incorporated into last year's draft? Or does FA compensation impact the following year's draft? I thought the compensation pick for Grant was incorporated last season.

Yup, they were. I lost my first round pick for signing Bell.
Turns out he was worth it. Had a great year as DH.

FA compensation affects the following draft.

Remember, we now have new rules for this. No more losing picks.
