8-1 sim (with Lee and Brunson both on DL) after a 9-1 sim.
Sargent (19-2), Wookey (18-3), and Nichols (16-2) all were 2-0 for the sim.
Five more saves for Egan who is now 42 for 43. League record is, I think, 52.

Mounties now 21+ games up on California (whose record would put them 1st in JL ATL and only a game or two back in the FL ATL or FL MDW

California trades are interesting.
To me Las Vegas made out like bandits in getting Taub (not to mention Horta) without giving up much at all.
Glad LV is in the FL.

Bandits showing signs of life. 7-4 last sim and no longer in the cellar.

4-4 and the sun continues to shine on Chicago in the second half of the season. Our defence has improved enormously and we have a pitcher with a winning record for the first time in living memory. Young Mr Murray continues to justify that number 2 pick overall. I'm almost tempted to pull him :D

nice pun. I understand my record is pretty good and it doesnt seem like i should be a seller but theres only 1 wildcard spot and Omaha has beaten me like a drum. I wasnt catching you so its pretty much over for the team. Shelly and Taub have started to lump so i wanted to move them on while they still had value. No i didnt get as much as i wanted for Taub but something is better than nothing. Probably could have gotten more had i been able to aggressively shop him but real life has reared its ugly head lately.

6-4 with a team ERA of 2.35. Course five of the games were against Chicago.

9-1 for the sim. Going to be quite a race for the Wild Card. Got everybody healthy and ready for the stretch. Only three teams with a better Pyth record than the Surfers. Nice to see it finally coming together.

Well...im out of the Basement. Good news is that it appears Dedeaux and Vazquez might have worn off the DL rust and Kengos comes back next week. Too little too late though.

Ross White now out for 6 weeks. And we went in the tank pitching wise last sim. Just a blip, I hope.
