Barney Lindsay was 19-1 with a 3.29 ERA :)
Alfonso Gonzales slugged 50 HR with 15 SB and exceptional defense :)
Mark Lolololo joined the rotation as a rookie and dominated, not only becoming the favorite for Gillstrom, but should garner Nebraska votes :)

Barney Lindsey has two losses this season. He lost one game and the Nebraska Award. Both were at the hands of Bernie Stuart.

At least he has an all-star game invitation.

So far the wildest result I'm seeing is Luis Gonzalez is only in fourth place for FL Reliever of the Year.

I also think Renato should be getting more love for FL GM of the Year.

I don't think people are watching what Aaron has been doing in Vancouver, either. He's been keeping the wheels on with spit and glue.

I gave Luis a vote, but I think he was only my third choice. I should have taken time to parse out his relief appearances from his early-season starting appearances with my team. Not doing so, I hedged my bet and voted for 2 RPs ahead of him.

Two people not even giving Ploid a vote (1-5) for Sawyer Silk is a bit mind boggling to me.

He led the league in hits, avg, obp, and stolen bases.

And 8.0 WAR at 1st base despite only having 10 homers.

He also beat out Gonzales in wOBA and wRC+.

Not in the top five? Silly.

Just give the Silk to the home run leader and stop making us vote.

I think what hurts him is the 13 losses. Maybe that's unfair because it's only 50% his fault with the other 50 being an offense that hasn't been very clutch. But it is what it is and doesn't look very good.

I saw him as a perfect stopper because he had 10 stamina, was an iron man and lacked a third pitch needed to be a good starter. But maybe he lacks that hidden clutch factor that I swear is in the game. Maybe he would of done better as a long man or a heavy use middle RP/set up man. Instead of coming into so many time games

He still had an amazing year despite something being a bit off. I fully expect him to be a big reason for us getting eliminated in playoffs.

I swear along side you on this. I've tried parsing apart the little personality blurb OOTP gives to see if I can figure out if there's something there that tells me what their super secret clutch rating is. So far -- peanuts, just frickin' peanuts.

EDIT: I just read this back to myself, and I think I may need professional help.
