For the Silk I am looking at offense only, so i have no problem with the winner being a DH. In this case though, he's 5th on my ballot, not sure why he's leading by so much.

It has "silver slugger" in the name but we don't have any other MVP type award. Is it supposed to be our replacement for MVP? If so, I think its wrong to only look at offense.

I'm actually not 100% sure if it's supposed to be an overall MVP or not. I just assume it's for hitting because of the name. Suppose I should find out, being the historian and all.

He won’t win the award but really great year from rookie CL Garth Dobbs. 89.1 IP, 37 SV, 2.92 ERA and 2.1 WAR. He’s the only RP of note from a group that ranks 23rd on positional strength but somehow managed the 4th best RP ERA in the FL.
