I am over here minding my own business. Why you gotta toss me in this. I am absolutely voting no for Pagan. 40 WAR(meaning he averaged 2 WAR per season). 114 OPS+ HUGE negative ZR in the field. If I am EVER voting for a guy who is a career negative 60 ZR into the hall of fame, he better have been absolutely ridiculous at the plate.

Do you ever make exceptions for counting stats? For example, are you supportive of Ichiro into the HoF? Purely based on WAR its a toss-up, but based on counting stats and "fame" he's a slam dunk. I feel like Pagan is similar.

I actually do support Ichiro in the HOF because he was the best player to come from Japan at that time. Not to mention he had 60 WAR(which would mean he was 50% better?...also not to mention Ichiro won 10....10.....10 gold gloves? I typically do not make exceptions for "counting stats" unless the stats put them in the 5 of that category(and more than 1 stat)....If Pagan got to 3,000 hits and 600 home runs, I'd likely consider it a bit more.
