Re: 2048, BBA Draft Chatter
Can @aaronweiner do his draft review now so I still have time to change my pick when he tells me how horrible of a job I did?

Re: 2048, BBA Draft Chatter
The competitive balance picks for Cairo and Riyadh at the ends of rounds one and two are NOT in the draft.
They are now.

Re: 2048, BBA Draft Chatter
Recte gave Cairo and Ryadh extra picks this year to help them build their teams up. They were recent expansion teams and are in need of some extra help.Bumstead wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 2:58 pmWhat are "Competitive Balance" picks?scottsdale_joe wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 2:17 pmThe competitive balance picks for Cairo and Riyadh at the ends of rounds one and two are NOT in the draft.

OK. Thank you for the info. Looks like this UMEBA draft is at least 5 players deep...Lane wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 2:59 pmRecte gave Cairo and Ryadh extra picks this year to help them build their teams up. Re: 2048, BBA Draft Chatter
By the way, there's a real chance that I skip the Best/Worst article but still do the first round (always) and the Top Ten thing I started last year after we finish the first round.

Re: 2048, BBA Draft Chatter
@chicoruiz I see you have a list but that doesn't make your pick until the clock starts. So can you make your pick so we can get some picks in before that? Please and thank you!

Aaron - That's no way to treat the new/old guy. @bschr682 , are you going to let him talk to you like that?aaronweiner wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 1:54 pmDear Brett,

Re: 2048, BBA Draft Chatter
I should have two S1 picks for losing Roberto Viramontas and Ramon Pagan.

In case anyone hasn’t been following this on Discord: I would love to make my pick. That button is not available to me yet on StatsPlus. I don’t really know why, but I’m guessing Recte isn’t ready to start the draft yet. So if you could all stop PM-ing me, that would be great…

We're all kind of excited, though - we're hoping you take someone not so good so there are still three players in the draft.chicoruiz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 12:11 pmIn case anyone hasn’t been following this on Discord: I would love to make my pick. Oh, I think we can all pretty much count on that happening. Last year’s overall #1 is now 22 and hasn’t figured out short season A ball yet…aaronweiner wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 12:26 pm
