My bad. Like, really bad.
Signed Adam Backhouse to a 3y extension. But somehow, I'm guessing he requested a PO and I missed it, I signed him w/ a PO the 2nd year and a TO the 3rd. So I guess I'm fooked. He says we'll talk extension after the season. I just have to hope he stays because the TO means nothing if he takes his PO...correct?

FYI, salary page doesn't show a team option. Just the PO. Not that it matters. He's going to opt-out.cheekimonk wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 12:45 amSigned Adam Backhouse to a 3y extension. If he's willing to sign an extension after this season though, and you get him to agree to one, it guarantees any future salary and the extension starts after it. The PO will still show on the salary page after you sign him to the extension, but goes away after the season. Whenever teams and players would make option decisions. So

Gotcha. I was wondering why the TO didn't appear.bcslouck wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 6:55 amFYI, salary page doesn't show a team option. Just the PO. Not that it matters. Re: My bad. Like, really bad.
I should rephrase that I mean that it appears he does not have a team option at the end of his contract. If he had one, it would be showing up.cheekimonk wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 9:57 amGotcha.
