Gamblers Out of Time, Out of Playoffs
The Atlantic City Gamblers have a new opponent: mathematics. The Gamblers still have games to play in their disappointing 2047 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Gamblers were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason.

The Gamblers have missed the playoffs 38 times in their 53 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2043. In the last 10 seasons, the Gamblers have made the playoffs 2 times. Atlantic City last won the Monty Brewster Memorial Series in 2022.

It will not be a surprise to many, but the Twin Cities River Monsters will not be heading to the playoffs this year. The team has been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.

Division Remains Up for Grabs, but Las Vegas in Postseason
The champion of the Johnson League Frontier Division remains to be crowned, but one thing is now known for sure after today's games - the Las Vegas Hustlers are going to the postseason.

The club's 97-50 record is good enough to guarantee them a spot in the playoffs and they will now look to officially capture the division title.

"That's our main goal," said center fielder Kidane Ata.

Seattle Out of Time, Out of Playoffs
The Seattle Storm will have to play out the season without even the faintest glimmer of hope for a late-season playoff push. The club was mathematically eliminated today from postseason contention.

Before this season, the Storm last missed the playoffs in 2045. In the 53 years they have been a Brewster Baseball Association franchise, they have missed the playoffs 34 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Storm have missed the playoffs 6 times.

Yellow Springs Clinches Playoff Spot Despite Loss
The Yellow Springs may have lost the battle at the ballpark today, but they won a big part of the war: they clinched a spot in the playoffs.

"It's certainly not how you picture it when you're a kid," said manager Alberto Sánchez today after his Yellow Springs Nine clinched, despite his squad's loss to the Las Vegas.

"It was a little weird at first, kind of celebrating, kind of ... I don't know ..." Sánchez trailed off musing the situation while in the clubhouse after the game. "But despite what happened today, we are a winning team and we earned this. It's not about what happened today, it's about how well this team has played all season long. The guys have fought hard all year long, and they really deserve the spot in the postseason. So yeah, we're definitely celebrating tonight."

If the fans felt any qualms about the circumstances, they sure didn't show it. Yellow Springs Nine faithful by the thousands hung around outside the stadium long after the game, cheering and celebrating into the night.

Metro Stars Clinch Playoff Spot With Victory
Today, Mumbai have officially claimed a spot in this year's postseason. The team punched their playoff ticket with a win yesterday. "I couldn't be prouder of this team," said skipper, Gula Afiba. "These guys worked their tails off all season long, so they've definitely earned this." However, the Metro Stars manager says he won't let his team rest on their laurels. "We've still got a long way to go to reach our ultimate goal and that's a championship trophy. So we're gonna celebrate and just let this all sink in tonight, but it's back to work tomorrow."
