I'm sure Randy has some hippy friends that can sell you one or two.shoeless.db wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 8:19 amWhere would someone procure a lucky dreamcatcher? I'm a math teacher and I teach statistics, so I'm more likely to quantify the winning streak than keep up my lucky dreamcatcher and wear the same tie.

That's what the Cougars are hoping for! Or, if we really want to stick to math, this hot streak surely means there must be a cold streak soon to get us back to the law of averages.tylertoo wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 6:48 amThis is a serious question. Do you (or others here) ever worry about jinxing your team by talking about a hot streak? I almost never talk about a hot streak. I'm superstitious about the freakin' baseball gods thinking, "We'll show him!"aaronweiner wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 5:20 amRockville has now lost three games since the All Star game. And five times since May. Pretty sure my team has never been this hot.
Of course I had just a 2-5 sim, so I can talk openly about my team's recent suckage.

I could live with the law of averages. My average winning percentage over the last twelve years is 60.6%, so average sounds pretty good to me.GoldenOne wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 9:04 amThat's what the Cougars are hoping for! That works for me. Would give me an actual shot with my continuous 4-2 sims.aaronweiner wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 10:21 amI could live with the law of averages.
