I would have taken Hodge even if I was #5. Very happy with this pick.

perhaps those teams that draft a pitcher would be inclined to trade away that pitcher :)

There were likely some more sensible options with my pick, but I wanted to roll the dice on the possible superstardom of Unem Ploid.

Can you guys please leave me a pitcher? I'm never bad enough to be in the top 5.
Browning is available, if you need a pitcher....

That was not an easy pick. But hard to pass up a guy with a 71% GB rating.

I wanted to take him, but couldn't justify a likely RP with good position guys left.

while i would have been ok with a lot of the pitchers above me, fratelli was #2 on my board after cano so i was thrilled he fell to 12. I actually have relatively decent rotation depth, but catching is a glaring black hole for me across my entire organization.

I think OOTP's 80 grade on Fratelli is a bit generous, but yeah, great pick at #12 and should be really good.

I'm surprised Bernard lasted so long. Gonna be a great pitcher. I almost took him, but decided to zag while the rest of the league zigs.

i would agree, but his hitting profile is perfect for my park, and his defense should be average at worst.

NOT who I would have taken. In no way thought we would be back to my 2nd round pick, especially not with enough time to make it go to Auto, by this point today. Dang.

Went for projectable pitching. Got two young lefties I like a lot at 18 and 28.

If I can somehow sign this impossible catcher, I will be very happy.

I like him a lot and forgot about him. Had my eye on the 2 C's with big power. Could of had 1 at 18 but passed hoping he'd make it to 28.

I had Patterson at the top of my draft list but decided to go with Seymour as a potential replacement for Zalapa next year.
