Time for a Change: Army Tab Smothers as New GM
Life in C.S.K.A. has been eventful of late. On the heels of a front office shakeup, the club has been pondering its future. Today, a local radio station reported that a deal has been reached with Greg Smothers to become the new C.S.K.A. general manager.

"We've been leaning in this direction for a while now," admitted a confidential source with the club, "But we had to evaluate all our options before going ahead. Smothers brings a fresh outlook to the Army organization."

Fighting Centaurs Farrell Decides to Retire
Paul Farrell of the Athens Fighting Centaurs has officially confirmed reports that he will retire at the end of the season.

Farrell has appeared in 61 games in his career, tossing 63.1 innings with 53 strikeouts. He has rung up a 6-9 record and a 6.25 ERA and has been credited with 15 saves.
