Award Voting Due Tuesday Night!
With something in the range od 17 votes in the BBA and about 10 in the UMEBA, I'm guessing more than a few of you have some ballot casting to do.
Reminders:
1) You can vote for both leagues
2) Vote in Statsplus
3) Deadline is tomorrow night

For anyone who votes for French for the Silk, I can arrange to send you Melon Balls freshly assembled and packaged in Chicago or a box of Kate's Kookies. If you play hardball, I can up the ante to Kate's melons.

I want to vote for Alan as GM of the Year but S+ won't let me. Already has the new guy.

Vote for Neil Thomas as UMEBA GM of the year or Jouve. Both did a fantastic job. Jouve had the best record in the UMEBA, while Neil really set the bar high for what an expansion team can do.

I'm not sure if there was one day notice to be able to vote, but I would have liked to have voted. Ah well. I know I'll miss some things this offseason - just way too rapid for me to keep up with. I'll do my best to keep up but I'm not too confident.

Voting was from the evening of May 19 to May 26. As I often tell my nephew after one of his soccer games (of which he's never seen a win in two seasons, poor kid), "Get 'em next time!"

Ah, thanks for that; I totally missed it. I kinda zoned out in the latter stages of the 2042 season. I couldn't keep up.

Re: Award Voting Due Tuesday Night!
Not a problem. This is a big, messy league. Part off the deal, though, is to be able to focus on what's important at any given time. The the rings of defense are essentially, exporting first, paying attention to league announcements second, voting third, and all the rest fourth. At those times when life gets to hectic, sometimes you have to drop #4 and just focus in the first three.
