I would definitely not be for an extra sim as a usual thing. I could see it during the shutdown.

If we do it, we could just go to a simple every-other-day sim. That always gives a day to get your act together.

I feared I’d have a tough time keeping up with 4 sims. I could keep up daily right now.

So yeah, I’d vote yes to an added sim during the Rona.

i would still vote no because you would see more missed exports and also tougher to keep up with writing. I do think if we switch (which is not a hill i would die on) we need to look at also reducing writing/PP requirements accordingly.

If we go to every other day (rather than 4/week), we'd go a bit faster and still have that classic Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday feel. That's essentially 3.5/week rather than 4/per.

Speaking for myself, but... I'm also fairly sure the GB will be lenient on PPT/writing during this period. This is not your usual moment, you know? Just do your best. Zero TN, for example, is not an indicator of 3 v. 4 sims. If you're slammed, you're slammed. At that level, you'll need to let us know.

On the other hand, I've done a quick update on PPT, and overall the impact of this period looks like it's going to create record numbers.

Anyway...again, to me--need to be flexible and have fun. If pushing too hard hurts that, then we should back it off.

I’d still vote no because you would lose the writing. I’m getting really into writing at the moment and the extra sim would really derail that. If you want more BBA, write more! Get really into your team, dig into your minors,get engrossed in the storylines of them. Don’t just ask for more sims which would give you less time to write, less time to manage your minors and less time to actually learn about the BBA.

I don’t want leniency lol, I want to continue my story. I want to follow my teams. If I get behind with the writing, I’m less likely to want to catch up and the history is lost. Who knows how long this lockdown lasts? Six months, a year? All the while history is being lost and perhaps after getting used to four sims and leniency we might ask for five sims? Go go, go on, it’s only one more sim then we never have a blank day. Oh wait! There’s Saturday, let’s make it six sims

I feared I wouldn’t be able to keep up with writing had we gone to 4 as well.

But all I have is time. As a school teacher who isn’t working, all I do is: Things that needed done around the house, play video games and the BBA, and go walk the golf course alone or with my kids.

every other day would get us this in a simple format.

i will also say if we do shift the schedule, at least make it every other day to avoid simming on back to back days. That is brutal, especially for me because the sim usually takes place at 3am-ish and i only have a relatively small window to export since i do not have access at work.
