After rabid fans spent an entire off-season cooped up in their homes, you can forgive a little stir-craziness infecting the population, right? That urge to see the world, or maybe just help their team pop out and pick up some TP. And yet, as we come to that most hallowed of days, we are distraught to find that no, there is no reprieve from the days of being cooped up with the 6 ear olds and the people who think you’re supposed to actually be working from home rather than imbibing decades old Blueberry infused VODAK.

And, yet, some of us.

A few lucky ones, I’m guessing.

We her a knock on the door and a phase that sounds like “Have a Good Lemon Party,” but may not really be just that because, well, you know how voices get fudged up right good by those little brown haz-mat suits, right? I mean, it could have been jus a simple “Have a good day, suckers!” but we’ll never know, now will we.

Because those few of us lucky to have a personal direct delivery guy each received that beloved package, that one thing that will make the day workable and livable, that one thing that will make all the other things work out just fine. That’s right! We think as we open the envelop, hands shaking, and extract the contents. That’s the ticket!

And it is.
