Pretty excited about sealing the deal with Machiavelli and minor league manager Atsumori Maeda. He had a good career, but I also drafted him when I was the GM of the Halifax Hawks. I felt pretty good about drafting him at the time, let's not talk about me trading him lol. I'm glad to have him back under my tutelage despite his face. Not the best looking guy.

As a part of the Machiavelli signing, William Wood is given his release marking the third starting outfielder to depart from the Jackrabbits organization in a year and a half. I was never going to resign Wood. Too many good corner outfielders coming up and Woods' ratings are moving him away from being able to handle center field long term.
