2040, BBA All-Star Voting Chatter

Ballots are due by 9pm Thursday evening.
Rosters are then due to me by Tyler (JL) and Kevin (FL) by Friday morning 9am.

All BBA and UMEBA GM's are required to vote.

For the first time in over a decade... there isn't a River Monster worthy of a All Star vote... Even CA San Duk Sim is having an off year.

While the future is hopeful, that future is about 2 seasons away. 2041 will also be as ugly as 2040 for the River Monsters.

Let the record show I did NOT cast the solo votes for wie, gillstrom, mendoza or reed. I do think some of those guys should be on the team in reserve roles, but I couldn't vote them in.

Nobody vote any Hawks in. I don't want to have to pay their all-star bonuses.

I know I am new here, but I feel like I have to defend my sole vote for Jorge Rodriguez... dude has 43 SB and slashing a hell of a line. I'm just saying the race for the Frick League LF All-Star spot needs to be closer

I'm a little disappointed that the BBA RBI leader, Mike Campbell, isn't getting more love. Maybe he'll be a bench guy?

rodriguez is having a very good season (and will probably make it as a reserve because im not sure DSM has many other viable options), but Simpson is slashing better at every single category (albeit barely in AVG/OBP) and is miles ahead in slugging.

I agree Rodriquez is having a great season. But, and this is a shameless plug for Simpson, the dude has just carried my team offensively through the entire first half. Without him, I can't imagine how putrid my offense would be.

I’m in an interesting spot. I get to pick the FL reserves but I’m not in the FL anymore. If anyone wants to put in a plug for a guy let me know. And in the JL Rios should be getting more votes at 2B.
