Crowdsourcing my protect list
All,
I am away from my game right now (through when drafts are due). I’m sitting in Maui drinking mai tais, and frankly the amount of time I can spend coming through this right now is limited. I’ve been helped a bit by Nigel (Thanks Nigel!)but it’s hard to read screen caps and filters via pm. Therefore I was hoping to crowdsource this a bit and make sure I’m not missing someone important.
If you have time, feel free to opine on my protected list, let me know who I am leaving off that maybe should be considered for protection. Or if you want, tell me I’m being ridiculous for protecting someone! Thanks!

Leyva's a bum. No way I'd pick him.
Not to mention, his defense is too good for my standards.

Re: Crowdsourcing my protect list
I would definitely leave Luna unprotected. Heck, I've got half a dozen guys like him but some with better defense. If he gets taken, I'll trade one of them for Leyva!

Looking at the league settings post - the ratings are 1-10 - looking at some of the player profiles that NO is leaving unprotected they have ratings of 11 or 12. How does that happen?

Re: Crowdsourcing my protect list
we have setting set to display actuals that are greater than max. OOTP allows for players to have ratings above any "max" but the default is to cap it at whatever the max is. A few seasons back, we switched to display ratings > max.CTBrewCrew wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 7:45 pmLooking at the league settings post - the ratings are 1-10 - looking at some of the player profiles that NO is leaving unprotected they have ratings of 11 or 12. Re: Crowdsourcing my protect list
One guy you are protecting has a 12 rating - but for example Joe Whittaker has a changeup rating as an 11 - which is what got me to thinking. He’s an overall 65 rating - which again I’m a bit confused if it’s a scale of ratings 1-10 where does the 65 overall rating come from? Does the league use a 20/80 scale for this? Don’t worry the 12s I saw were from guys you protected.

Overall ratings are 20-80. Used to be stars. Component ratings are 1-10CTBrewCrew wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 6:10 amOne guy you are protecting has a 12 rating - but for example Joe Whittaker has a changeup rating as an 11 - which is what got me to thinking. Re: Crowdsourcing my protect list
But sometimes component ratings can go to 11 or 12. Wont show up in stats+ though - that only goes to a 10.

There's been a fair amount of changes to the ratings settings recently, probably worth searching around a bit. And check this post from sjshaw: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=29479&p=167902&hil ... gs#p167902

Thanks - I’ve made some excels with custom macros - once I’ve got a team I’ll do some exports and see if need to make any adjustments
