Love seeing a few of the positions split amongst two or three players.

A few of the guys I voted for that are "trailing" in the polls:
  • I selected Noboru over Barrera for Johnson 3B...lower OPS but better WAR. Just seems like every sim I'm seeing Noboru's name mentioned having big weeks or impressive single-game performances.
  • I voted for Zalapa over Wareham for Frick SS...despite his .222 average, Wareham's seemingly running away with it with I assume his defense, stolen base numbers and OBP. I wonder if Zalapa being listed as a 2B (has only played two innings there this season) is hurting his vote total.
I think our league does a good job on the votes for relievers, choosing the best players regardless of role and not relying on save totals only.

- Surprised that Rockville's Marino has such a large margin over Moreland for JL 1B.
- I've got Noboru, too, but it's a fun vote.
- Quite a few good races in the Frick League. The Starks/Torres race is one of the toughest. I don't envy Chris's job of picking the rest of the team.
- RE: Zalapa/Wareham - I can see either, but Wareham is having a better overall year. I don't think Zalapa's 2B setting is affecting the vote, but I could be wrong.
- I'm one of the Thum votes though, because his overall numbers make it defensible, and because if he keeps up the pace he's had since a May dip, he may wind up the SS Puckett winner.

Yes, the Starks v Torres battle will be interesting. Snubs could make for a decent article or a What's Brewin' segment.

Dont vote anyone from Omaha, I dont want to pay their contract bonuses nor have them think they are amazing players who deserve raises.

Hmmm that’d be an interesting strategy. Get a bunch of people to vote along with you for guys with big bonuses so their team has to dish out all that dough...

I voted 100% Omaha. Your reverse psychology doesn't work on me. Or does it? Wait.

What about Shaw?

And the UMEBA guys can certainly vote if they want to.
