Trade Value series?
I've been a big fan of Bill Simmon's long-running NBA trade value series (as much as I disagree with a majority of some of his rankings over the years) and FanGraphs has done a similar MLB series for a few years now (they just wrapped up the 2019 version today)...I thought it'd be fun to do leading up to this year's trade deadline, as well as the upcoming expansion, and make it an annual article to see how players' value fluctuate over time and give us a cool historical reference.
As much as I'd love to do it all myself, I don't want to poison the well and I would love to get some feedback so it's more collaborative. Let me know if you'd be interested in helping out and we can go from there...I think there are a few ways we can go about this to make sure it's collective.
Oh, and I also think this would make for a great podcast topic, either going over the list or as a reference for a Trade Deadline special episode.

I love this idea. I don't have a ton of time, but if I can help in any way let me know.

This has 'Annual Media Guide Feature' written all over it. I'm potentially interested, depending on what you're looking to do exactly.

Re: Trade Value series?
Thanks for the early interest, fellas...I think the easiest thing might be for those involved to take a look at the initial rankings, offer suggestions of who should move up/down (pretty simple) and provide a line or two about a handful of players to add in the breakdown so there's multiple voices of commentary.

Re: Trade Value series?
Love this idea and I think it might be better as a league feature than a media guide piece because of the discussion it will generate.

Re: Trade Value series?
Could always do it prior to trade deadline along with a podcast, then can update it after the season (taking in extensions, free agency, trades, great/poor second halves, etc) for media guide.
