There's a lot of "hidden" catchers out there. Just got one in Combs.

And here I thought I was being so smart when I took Brooks Buck ... better ratings at catcher than at his so-called primary position.

A free tow outta town for any position player who doesn’t hit above the Mendoza line ... and given the state of my roster, that should keep Vinnie Vitale’s boys busy all summer.

That makes me nervous for Mann. I went over a million more than he was asking (also about $2 million over slot). When I got home from work today, I decided to try and sneak in a bigger offer just to be sure he'd sign, but I was too late. Now he's sitting on Pending. At least he hasn't rejected it right away, but I'm on pins and needles now...

Most I'm gonna have to pay anyone is $1.3M for my 1st rounder. Only impossibles I got are my 19th and 20th rounders. Probably gonna be my cheapest draft ever.
