Openers/Followers

Post by jleddy » Mon Jun 17, 2019 4:47 pm

I was going to mess around with current pitchers on my active roster to figure out the framework of a potential rotation and bullpen. I was intending to assign a few pitchers as openers and followers to see how it all lined up but it appears that option is not available. I believe the opener/follower option needs to be turned on in the league settings for this new OOTP20 feature to appear.

Are we planning on offering this strategy in 2040?

I’m waiting for the “put me in when we are losing by a dozen after 3 innings” option for laloosh.

I know we have some guys that effectively used the opener in V19, and I don't see why we wouldn't at least have the option available for people to use in V20.

I'd love to see this available in the UMEBA also, selfishly due to lower stamina on starters and interesting splits on some relievers.

Life is a bit more beautiful when time is measured by the half inning rather than the half hour.
